Our Trainers

Irene Tan
Irene Tan has been in the Early Childhood arena for more than 12 years and is professionally trained in visual arts as well. She has mentored and conducted field supervision to in-service and pre-service pre-school teacher students and is currently an Associate Lecturer at SEED Institute.

Chua King Loo
Ms Chua King Loo is an experienced trainer in early childhood education and development. Her knowledge in the field is well rounded. As a managing director in her preschool for the past decade, she is able to compliment her training expertise with practical and real-life examples.

Balakrishnan Santhi
Santhi has a strong network in the industry and is experienced in curriculum design and delivery. She is extremely knowledgeable in the field of nursing and always enthusiastic about sharing personal insights. Currently, she delivers lecture at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Griffith University as well.
Frequently Asked Questions
SEED no longer conduct Diplomas in Early Childhood or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) or other courses that trains you to become a full-time Early Childhood Teacher. For these courses, please refer to NIEC (niec.edu.sg) or other private institutions.

All of our programmes are conducted by a pool of professional EC trainers, all of whom have significant experiences in this sector and have built their own portfolio with specialisations and expertise.
Currently all of our programmes (except for field practicum sessions) are being held online via Zoom live sessions and our learning platform, Gnowbe. With learning guides, assessments, and close communication, we uphold our programmes to a strict standard to minimise any compromises during remote learning.
