1. Course Fee, Payment & Funding1.1 Prevailing GST rate applies to all course fee.
1.2 SEED accepts payment of course fee via one of the following channel:
- Cheque (made payable to “SEEDInstitute Pte Ltd”)
1.4 Any Fees paid will be refunded to you if SEED is not able to offer you a place on your chosen Course or as otherwise set out in the Terms. Please refer to clause 5 for further information on refunds and compensation.
1.5 Except as set out in clause 1.8 and any payment terms contained on the invoice, payment will usually be required within 30 calendar days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing by SEED.
1.6 Where GST is payable on any fees due under the Terms (including under the Private Education Contract), GST will be charged at the prevailing rate in force at the date a payment is made. The actual total fees payable may therefore increase or decrease accordingly.
1.7 For SSG or e2i funded courses, you / Invoicing Addressee are permitted to pay upfront only a portion of the course fee (less the potential funding amount) at the point of application. In the event that the trainee fails to meet any of the requirements set under the funding scheme and thereby resulting that his / her application for funding claim to be rejected by SSG or e2i due to any reasons, the trainee is liable to pay the balance of the course fee (ie the potential funding amount) to SEED
1.8 The detailed course fees funding by SSG and course fees payable, including instalment payment details are indicated in the Committee for Private Education contract, which will be signed by the applicant at point of enrolment.
1.9 Should claims be unsuccessful for students utilising SkillsFuture Credit, the student will be required to make payment of the 1stinstalment in full. SEED reserves the right to reject applicants if payment is not received.
1.10 In the event of any outstanding course fees payment, book loans and / or library fines, SEED reserves the right to withhold your Transcripts and / or Course Certificates until full payment has been received.
1.11 SEED reserves the right to transfer your Transcripts and / or Course Certificates to your sponsoring company in event of requests made by the company.
1.12 In the event when SSG rejects course fee claim submission upon completion of the course, due to whatsoever reason, you / Invoicing Addressee will be liable to pay the “Funded Course Fee by SSG” to SEED within 14 calendar days from the date of rejection by SSG.
1.13 UTAP (Union Training Assistance Programme) is a training benefit available to self-sponsored trainees who are NTUC members. NTUC members enjoy 50% *unfunded course fee support for up to $250 each year. Refer to www.ntuc.org.sg for further information on the UTAP funding. *Unfunded course fee refers to the balance course fee payable after applicable government subsidy. This excludes GST, registration fees, misc. fees etc.
2. Withdrawal, Deferment & Cancellation
2.1 A written notice must be submitted and received by SEED before course commence. The following refund policy applies:

2.2 You may request a deferral of any Course where exceptional circumstances apply and you can support your request with evidence.
2.3 Where SEED exercises its discretion under clause 2.2:
- An approved deferral period will be agreed subject to the availability and start dates of the indicated course.
- Payment of Fees (or any payments due under the Private Education Contract) must be up to date at the time of your request.
